Anastasiya Markovich (Born October 23, 1979, Brichany, Moldavia) is a Ukrainian lady painter. Anastasiya Markovich is now working in her town Chernivtsi[1] in the south-west of Ukraine where she grow up after her birth.
Anastasiya Markovich is known for several exhibitions in- and outside Ukraine and publications in several (art) magazines and the art book “Світ Левкасу” or “The World of Levkas” with a foreword from the Prime minister of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich.
Her paintings are by several collectors and galleries in countries like Germany, France, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia and Ukraine.

Anastasiya Markovich is the older of two children of Viktor Markovich and Irena Markovich (née Moskvina).[2] She has a brother Yuri Markovich.[3]
The entire family is active in the profession of visual arts. Her father Viktor Markovich is a painter, her mother Irena Markovich is making designs and her brother Yuri Markovich is also a painter.
Anastasiya Markovich entered in 1985 the lyceum in Chernivtsi and graduated in 1996. Parallel studied Anastasiya Markovich from 1990, on the Chernivtsi Art School; she graduated in 1994 with the best marks. Anastasiya Markovich took part in a number of children and youth exhibitions and won some competitions. In 1996 Anastasiya Markovich entered Chernivtsi Academy of Law and Economics, department Law with the directions criminal law, civil law and trade law.
For her art-profession, which was her final decision, she went for further additional studies to studios of other painters, like Dariusz Milinski and Tomasz Sętowski in Poland. For her art-profession she was making study tours to Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Anastasiya Markovich has always mentioned on the cultural influence of her town Chernivtsi. It’s like, she said, a melting pot established in centuries and centuries with a lot of cultural influences and differences. That’s makes Chernivtsi so interesting for me.
Chernivtsi[4] is famous for the artists who lived and worked in this town and created masterpieces in literature, poets, architectural monuments and visual arts. Many famous singers, musicians, folk and dance groups and actress started their artistically live in Chernivtsi.
Some important names are: Frederic Zelnik, film producer and film director and actor of the German silent cinema. Taras Shevchenko, Ukrainian poet, artist and humanist. Yuri Fedkovych, is considered to be the founder of the Ukrainian literature in Bukovina and his name is connected with the University of Chernivtsi.[5] Olha Kobylianska, Modern writer and feminist of the Ukrainian. Paul Celan, one of the major poets from the era before the Second World War. Ivan Franko, a Ukrainian poet, writer, social and literary critic, economist and political activist. Josef Hlavka, architect.[6][7] Viorica Ursuleac, soprano. Volodymyr Ivasyuk composer. Pavlo Dvorsky, pop singer.
In this surroundings from famous artists and culture history Anastasiya Markovich created her paintings and developed her ideas and style.
The foreword is from the Prime minister of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich:

I hope that the issue of this unique edition will help to popularize the Ukraine art in the world.
